Hard Pencil effect

1 Start with opening the picture you're going to use. It's nicest with pictures which are colorful, so I chose this:


2 Go to Layers > Duplicate.

3 So go on Effects > Edge effects > Dilate.

Now my picture looks like this:


4 Set the blendmode to Difference. Then my picture looks like this:


5 Now go to Layers > New adjustement layer > Invert.

6 Now you're done!
